Hello, I’m Louise, a 3^rd year geographer (contrary to popular belief it involves slightly more than just colouring in) from Trevs and this year’s Social Secretary. We have socials every Monday in the DSU (a safe space) so please feel free to come down and say hi. They are a great way to get involved in the LGBTA and meet people; if you don’t wanna come by yourself don’t hesitate to contact a member of the exec who will come and meet you and walk down to the DSU with you.

I’m keen to continue the great socials put on last year and to kick off the term with Shipwrecked and follow on with nights out in Newcastle and trips to Manchester and London as well as having the girls and boys socials which are always a good laugh and usually end in Klute. This year we are also going to run coffee shop and movie night socials so look out for details in the weekly emails.

Outside of the LGBTA I can be found playing football for Trevs and frequenting Fabios and Klute! I also love going to gigs and I can guarantee that if Tegan and Sara perform with 200 miles of Durham I’ll be there front and centre.
