Hi, I’m Katie, your women’s place president for this year (aka Lesbian-in-chief!) This means that I work alongside Russell to make your experience in Durham and the LGBTA the best it can be; as well as especially looking out for all our LGBT women. I am also the trans rep for this year (see below). I like to think I’m easily approachable and enjoy making friends and chatting to new people.

Aside from the LGBTA, I’m a third year maths student from cuth’s (crazy I know) who just enjoys having fun! You are most likely to find me at the bar or in the smoking area (terrible habit) – and expect sudden, drastic changes to my hair colour! Feel free to just come up and start chatting to me about absolutely anything, I enjoy meeting you all!
