Hey, you’ve already met me but here I am again; this is the second year I have been trans representative now which means I’m responsible for representing any student that falls under the trans umbrella, or thinks they might do. I’m always available to talk about any concerns you may have about coming out, your gender identity and where to seek help. I’m also always available just to meet up for a general chat over a cup of coffee so feel free to email me for a friendly and understanding point of contact. I’m also here to make sure that all trans students are treated fairly and without discrimination in Durham so I’m the person to come to if you have any concerns. You can contact me with the peace of mind that any details shared will be kept anonymous and I can also provide lots of information about what it means to be trans, the different ways you can define your gender identity and people you can contact who have had similar experiences.
